Prolog
Welcome to my corner of the web, in which I document the products of my musings.
Feedback
I adore all feedback that does not involve placing a microphone near a speaker. My contact info is decipherable from my account name at the domain you're visiting. I would be less cryptic were it not for web scourers scooping up names to send me junk messages about the size of anatomy I don't have that therefore doesn't need enlarging.
Prolog

What's past is prologue: my experience with audio, publishing, non-profit, and more informs my attitude. I've gravitated towards philosophies and practices that encourage the highest expression of the individual. I am not opposed to examining and breaking down the societal barriers to this expression, but wish I didn't have to.
Apple
1998-2006
I worked at Apple for more than eight years, starting with developers in the entertainment markets, and then propagating its aesthetic as a voice and manager on the web. I helped get key technologies into the system, then devoted energy to making you want them, culminating in significant contributions to the successful Mac vs PC campaign. This story contextualizes my portfolio there: I am available to give similar assistance to those working on interesting, useful technology. I can also analyze why something is neither useful nor interesting and what could change that.

I am building a cottage out of shipping containers. This project is a tangible study in home technology and sustainable building methods and as such gives focus to my curiosity in these matters. It is my hope that we as a nation of individuals can autonomously create better personal spaces and habits that will stop the acceleration of climate change. I have been saying for more than four years now, "We can change our behavior voluntarily, or we can have it changed for us violently. I prefer the former."

I would very much appreciate it, if you are a US citizen, if you voted. It's the bare minimum I'd appreciate. I have (strong) opinions on who is better, but it matters more to me that people participate in the voting process. I would appreciate it if you would take the time to make five voting buddies, and make sure they participate too.
